Admission – Drug, Alcoholism, Chemical Dependency Treatment

We understand it takes courage to make that first phone call to ask for help. However learning to accept the gift of recovery may be the most rewarding and precious gift you can give to yourself, your family and friends, as well as the community you live in.
Our promise is that you will be treated with respect and understanding from the start. The Intake Coordinator will take time with you on the phone, answering your questions so you can make informed choices about treatment. Staff are available 24 hours to talk to you and begin the process.
We know you may be concerned about health care costs. As part of our services, we contact your insurance carrier and determine the coverage of your particular plan. With this information, we can give you our best estimate of your share of the costs. We accept many types of health insurance, and we offer competitive pricing for private pay clients.
Once you’ve made the decision to enter treatment, we’ll provide you a list of what to pack. If you need transportation to our campus, we can help with making arrangements (we are available for transport in a 125 mile radius from our site in Santa Rosa, CA) . When you arrive, we’ll assist with the necessary forms, provide a facility orientation, and assign a “buddy” who will guide you through your first few days. Our trained staff will monitor your progress throughout your stay. Special monitoring is provided for the detoxification process. Your safety is our number one concern.
DURING THE CURRENT PANDEMIC WE HAVE AND WILL CONTINUED TO PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO ALL OUR CLIENTS. AS ESSENTIAL WORKERS, OUR STAFF ARE FULLY TRAINED IN INFECTION CONTROL PROCEDURES, REGULARLY TESTED FOR COVID-19, AND FULLY ABLE TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR ANYONE IN TREATMENT.
12 Step meetings, alumni groups, and family visits are temporarily discontinued until it is safe to hold these activities again.
To ensure safety and provide the highest quality of care to its clients, Campobello is certified by the State of California to provide medical services. These are called INCIDENTAL MEDICAL SERVICES (IMS) which includes the following services as defined by MHSUDS Information Notice No.: 18-031:
1. Obtaining medical histories.
2. Monitoring health status to determine whether the health status warrants transfer of the client in order to receive urgent or emergent care.
3. Testing associated with detoxification from alcohol or drugs.
4. Providing alcoholism or drug abuse recovery or treatment services. This includes the 12 Step and evidence based knowledge you need, once you have decided on a life that can thrive, without depending on alcohol or other chemical substances “to feel normal”.
5.Over-seeing client self-administered medications.
6. Treating substance use disorders, including detoxification.
CAMPOBELLO WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT.
As we continue to provide quality of care to our clients, Campobello CDRC will ensure that the introduction of MAT is implemented at the appropriate time and maintained during treatment, as determined by the physician. Examples of MAT medications include, but are not limited to, acamprosate, disulfiram, methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone.
As California recognizes residential treatment as treatment for an illness, you may be eligible for benefits during your treatment stay. The Intake Coordinator can also assist with the completion of State Disability forms.
