History Of Campobello – Residential Center
Campobello was founded in 1985 by innovative treatment thinkers Bill Twitchell and Chuck Brissette. Chuck created an effective treatment approach, part of which is shared with clients today.
Campobello was not damaged by the Northern California fires. We are participating in helping those who have lost their homes, jobs and family members in the disasters which have decimated Sonoma County. We can assist those who need recovery from addictions giving them the freedom to rebuild their lives and futures.
As the field of chemical dependency has developed, Campobello has remained current on best methodologies. We continually upgrade our curriculum with evidence-based approaches that include the neuroscience of addiction and psychopharmacology of drug use.
Today, we welcome a diverse group of clients from many walks of life. Campobello is honored to be a preferred provider for a number of labor unions in northern California.
DURING THE CURRENT PANDEMIC WE HAVE AND WILL CONTINUED TO PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES ALL OUR CLIENTS. AS ESSENTIAL WORKERS, OUR STAFF ARE FULLY TRAINED IN INFECTION CONTROL PROCEDURES, REGULARLY TESTED FOR COVID-19, AND FULLY ABLE TO PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR ANYONE IN TREATMENT.
12 Step meetings, alumni groups, and family visits are temporarily discontinued until it is safe to hold these activities.
